A Little About MeI'm an author. I'm a yarnwear designer (both knit and crochet). I'm a math nerd. I love spreadsheets. I love creating new worlds with new friends to meet.
I've been writing for pretty much forever. It's how my brain works. In text. It's how I work to make sense of the world around me. Exploring questions and issues through the lens of fiction. Asking what if? What if we explored play through the eyes of a child? What if those terrifying children's stories are true? What if dragons can only reproduce in pairs but are bonded to humans? What if we explore exactly what makes us human? Pushing the boundaries of life and existence and exploration. Seeking out to destroy evil. Mourning the loss of characters we've come to love. It's all there. My first short story collection is due to come out in late 2023 or early 2024. Keep your eyes peeled. Yarn is how I keep my hands occupied and fulfill the need to create and explore through a physical medium. What if? What if I took a shawl and added sleeves? What if I made a cowl that could be worked up just as beautifully in three different weights of yarn? What if I combined these two stitch patterns? Tackling these questions (generally with the extensive use of spreadsheeting) and making something that actually works is a pretty incredible feeling and I'm delighted to be able to share the end results of my exploration with you. In both knit and crochet. So no matter which one you can or prefer to do, you can make what catches your eye. |
