If you’re ready to expand your pattern reading skills, this is the class for you. Learn how to read charts, use stitch markers to set off repeats, and navigate stitch dictionaries to expand your world of making beyond just written instructions.
There will be minimal time for hands on making to practice, but any size yarn and tool will do if you wish to bring supplies.
Must know basic stitches with confidence:
Knit: Cast on, knit, purl, bind off, various increases and decreases.
Crochet: Chain, single crochet, double crochet, various increases and decreases.
Tunisian: Chain, Tunisian Simple Stitch, Tunisian Purl Stitch, bind off, various increases and decreases.
If you need to purchase supplies the day of class, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your purchases before class begins.
Maximum 10 participants per class. Lefties and righties welcome! I can teach both!
